• Examine the areas around the vent pipes and your chimney. Looking for cracks or gaps or missing caulk.
• Use binoculars to examine the trim, flashing and the area around your chimney for cracks, loose shingles and an inordinate amount of wear.
• Inspect the eave overhangs for water staining.
• Inside your home, look underneath for signs of discolored or stained ceilings or for water stains on the roofing material in your attic
